It was Emile Leroy, a winegrower in Ecueil (near Reims) who began marketing his wines in the 1900s with his friend Gustave Saroul. This avant-garde friend in terms of advertising sold Emile wines in the Marseille region. He put his emblem on the label, a lion rolling a globe under his paw. In their memory, we have used this graphic since December 2008.
